Last updated: 30 September 2026
Mayn Enterprise Pty Ltd (ABN 91 677 666 090) trading as MUUU ("MUUU", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information when you visit muuu.com.au (the "Site"), buy from us, subscribe to our emails or otherwise contact us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and details of the products you buy.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay or other providers offered at checkout). We do not see or store your full card details.
- Account information: if you create an account, your login details, order history.
- Communications: messages you send us, product reviews, survey or quiz answers, and customer service records.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring websites and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Health information. We do not ask for health information to sell you our products, and we ask that you do not send us details of your medical conditions unless necessary. If you choose to provide health information (for example, when reporting a suspected adverse reaction), we will only use it to respond to you, investigate the report and meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and we will handle it with extra care as sensitive information.
Answers you give in our on-site product finder quiz are used in your browser to suggest a product category and are not linked to your identity.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- process, deliver and manage your orders and payments;
- provide customer service and handle returns, refunds and complaints;
- send order confirmations, shipping updates and other service messages;
- send marketing emails or SMS where you have agreed to receive them;
- operate, secure and improve the Site, and prevent fraud;
- measure and improve our advertising; and
- comply with our legal obligations, including consumer, tax and therapeutic goods laws.
3. Marketing
We will only send you marketing messages if you have consented or where otherwise permitted under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email and SMS includes an unsubscribe option, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about your orders.
4. Cookies and analytics
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep the Site working (for example, your cart), remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used and show you relevant advertising. These may include tools from Shopify, Google and Meta. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you block some cookies, parts of the Site may not work properly.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:
- our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and related apps that help us run the store and reviews;
- payment processors and fraud prevention providers;
- delivery partners such as Australia Post and couriers;
- email, SMS and customer service providers;
- analytics and advertising providers;
- our professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers); and
- government agencies or regulators where required or authorised by law.
These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Canada, Ireland and other countries where their servers are located. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including by using reputable platforms with encryption and access controls. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then securely delete or de-identify it. If we become aware of a data breach likely to cause serious harm, we will respond in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
8. Access and correction
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why, where appropriate.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Products for children should be purchased by a parent or guardian.
10. Complaints
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please email us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
